Air New Zealand's Group Capacity Falls Over 4% in February

Air New Zealand's (NZE:AIR, ASX:AIZ) group capacity fell 4.4% year on year to over 3.1 million in February, according to a Monday filing with the Australian and New Zealand bourses.

Long-haul available seat kilometers (ASKs) fell 5.5%, domestic ASKs dropped 0.9%, and short-haul international ASKs declined 3.9%.

The country's flagship airline carried over 1.2 million passengers in February, down 5% on the year-earlier period, per the filing.

The passenger load factor was about 83%, an improvement from a little over 79% a year earlier.
