Sublime Butter 的一名主管 Tony Ho 表示，资金从未用于公司，且该公司已在 2023 年 7 月 将创始人 Chris Mair 罢免为董事，并指控他欺诈性地利用品牌进行投资募集。Ho 进一步称，投资款直接转入 Mair 的个人钱包，之后资金去向不明。Nouns DAO 需要采取法律行动追回资金，因为这些资金从未进入公司的账目。
