Galileo Mining Says Drilling Extends Platinum, Palladium Mineralization at Western Australia Project; Shares Fall Past 8%

Galileo Mining (ASX:GAL) said assay results from air core drilling at its Norseman project in Western Australia extended the known palladium and platinum mineralization at the Mission Sill prospect, according to a Thursday Australian bourse filing.

About 4,500 meters of air core drilling in 159 drill holes were conducted in the March campaign.

"Significant" intercepts included 4 meters at 1.2 grams per tonne (g/t). grade of palladium-platinum-gold from 28 meters and 12 meters at 0.4 g/t grade of palladium-platinum-gold from the surface.

Galileo Mining's shares fell over 8% in recent trading on Thursday.
