TowneBank (TOWN) said Tuesday it has completed the merger with Village Bank and Trust Financial and its subsidiary, Village Bank.
Following the merger, Village Bank locations will operate as "Village Bank, a Division of TowneBank" until June, when the systems and operations of Village Bank are to be converted into those of TowneBank.
TowneBank said the merger, which was announced in September 2024, will bolster its presence in the Richmond, Virginia area.
