Conagra Brands (CAG) and Bloom Energy (BE) said Tuesday that they had signed a 15-year power purchase agreement to use Bloom's fuel cell technology at two Conagra production facilities in Ohio.
The agreement requires Bloom to provide 70% to 75% of the electricity needs at the facilities in Troy, Ohio and Archbold, Ohio. The companies said they expect the use of the fuel cell technology to decrease Conagra's greenhouse gas emissions by 19%.
