智通财经APP获悉，据报道，在完成对其机队的软件更新后，亚马逊(AMZN.US)在美国两个城市恢复了无人机送货，亚马逊正在这两个城市测试这项服务。今年1月，由于空气中的灰尘导致无人机的高度传感器出现异常，德克萨斯州科利奇站和亚利桑那州托尔森的Prime Air快递暂停。灰尘可能会导致无人机相对于地面的位置读数不准确。
亚马逊发言人告诉媒体：“安全突出了我们在Prime Air所做的一切，这就是为什么我们暂停运营，对MK30无人机进行软件更新。更新工作现在已经完成，并得到了美国联邦航空管理局(FAA)的批准，我们可以恢复交货。”他补充说，自恢复交货以来，Prime Air的需求达到了“前所未有的水平”。
亚马逊的无人机送货业务尚未扩展到其他地区，最近报告了两起单独的坠机事件。去年，该公司关闭了位于加州洛克福德的一个测试基地。与此同时，这家电子商务巨头正致力于在英国启动无人机配送，并表示，一旦获得监管部门的批准，它将计划从达灵顿的配送中心进行首次飞行。
