Financials Down on Tariff Anxiety -- Financials Roundup

Shares of banks and other financial institutions ticked down amid anxiety ahead of the Trump administration's tariff unveiling.

Visa offered Apple a roughly $100 million payment to get the tech giant's credit card, part of a battle between the country's biggest payment networks for the splashy Apple card. For months, big banks, including JPMorgan Chase and Synchrony Financial, had vied to take over administration of the tech company's credit card from former backer Goldman Sachs Group.
