Quaker Houghton (KWR) late Tuesday said it closed on its acquisition of Dipsol Chemicals. paying 23 billion Japanese yen ($153 million).
The industrial process fluids company said Dipsol generated around $82 million in revenue over the 12 months ended Dec. 31, with the purchase price reflecting a multiple of 10.5 times Dipsol's trailing 12-month adjusted earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization of about $15 million.
Quaker Houghton also said Tuesday it was acquiring UK-based chemicals manufacturer Natech for 4 million British pounds ($5.2 million).
