PANews 4月2日消息，Scroll联合创始人Ye Zhang在X平台发文指出，对以太坊Layer2征税是以太坊未来发展的一大毒瘤。这种短视行为以牺牲长期可扩展性和生态系统增长为代价换取短期收入，是中心化企业的做法，非中立平台之选。衡量ETH价值若仅看以太坊收入，是本末倒置。ETH的真正价值在于它已成为数千个rollup生态系统的核心，这才是未来出路。
Solana走垂直整合路线，SOL在其系统内虽占主导，但控制严格、可扩展性有限。而ETH已在Base、Arbitrum、Optimism、zkSync、Scroll等平台崭露头角，即便在非gas代币的链上仍是DEX的主要交易对。更多rollup意味着ETH采用率更高，作为价值储存（SoV）的ETH将获更多信任和使用。每个与以太坊对齐的Layer2都在扩大其版图、增强社会共识，以ETH为核心的数千个可扩展rollup潜力远超任何单体链。
以太坊无需榨取，而应赋能：1.加速部署，将数据块规模扩展1000倍，提升执行层扩展能力；2.让以太坊的数据可用性（DA）更具吸引力，提供互操作性、共享组件、流动性桥接等超越安全性的附加价值；3.赋能更多与以太坊理念契合的参与者。ETH的胜利在于成为引力中心，而非收费站。”
