Chenming Paper's Losses Balloon Nearly Sixfold in 2024 as Revenue Slumps 15%

Shandong Chenming Paper (HKG:1812) booked an attributable net loss of 7.41 billion yuan in 2024, up almost sixfold from 1.28 billion yuan in 2023, according to a Tuesday filing on the Hong Kong bourse.

Loss per share also widened to 2.53 yuan from 0.45 yuan.

The paper mill company's revenue tumbled 14.6% to 22.7 billion yuan from 26.6 billion yuan.

No final dividend was declared for 2024.
