Auric Mining (ASX:AWJ) received an extension to conduct exclusive due diligence concerning its purchase of Lindsay's gold project in Western Australia from Top Global Mining and NBC Mining, according to a Tuesday filing with the Australian bourse.
Auric paid an exclusivity fee and deposit of AU$100,000 to the vendors. The assets being acquired include the Parrot Feathers open pit gold mine, per the filing.
The mineral explorer said it is "well advanced" in the due diligence process.
Auric Mining's shares were down nearly 4% in recent Tuesday trade.
