WTW's Willis has acquired Global Commercial Credit, a credit-risk-management company based in Michigan.
WTW said Tuesday the acquisition adds scale and growth potential for its credit and political risk business in North America, and aligns with the company's growth plan to expand into specialized businesses.
WTW said GCC will also help diversify its span across industries and provide opportunities to introduce complementary products to clients.
As part of the acquisition, the London-based advisory will also acquire ProfitGuard, a specialized credit-risk-management service.
The companies did not disclose the financial terms of the deal.
