Lapou Gold's Profit Widen 254% in 2024; Shares Rise 15%
Lapou Gold (HKG:6181) reported a 253.9% increase in profit attributable for 2024 to 1.47 billion yuan from 416.3 million yuan a year earlier, according to a Monday filing with the Hong Kong bourse.
Earnings per share were 9.47 yuan, up from 3.03 yuan a year ago.
Revenue increased by 167.5% to 8.50 billion yuan, up from 3.18 billion yuan the previous year.
The board proposed a final dividend of 6.35 yuan per share. The record date for the dividend is May 29, and the payment date is July 2.
The company's shares were up 14% in the recent trading.
