South Korea, China Strengthen Trade Ties, Vow Collaboration on Critical Minerals

South Korea's Trade Minister Dukgeun Ahn and China's Commerce Minister Wang Wentao met in Seoul on March 29 to discuss bilateral trade and supply chain stability.

The two countries decided to enhance cooperation through multilateral trade platforms, including the World Trade Organization and the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation, while working jointly on critical minerals supply chain stability, Korea's Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy said Monday.

South Korea and China will also boost communication via bilateral channels such as the supply chain hotline.
