SJVN Green Energy, a wholly-owned subsidiary of power producer SJVN (NSE:SJVN, BOM:533206) has completed on March 31 a trial run of 241.77 MW capacity in the first phase of the 1,000 MW Bikaner Solar Power Project, according to a Tuesday filing to the Indian stock exchanges.
The capacity, currently under operation, is expected to be commercially operational on Wednesday.
This 1,000 MW project is expected to be fully commissioned by Sept. 30, after which the project will supply the generated solar power to the states of Rajasthan, Jammu & Kashmir and Uttarakhand in India.
