Australia's Star fails to secure Salter Brothers loan, eyes Bally's previous lifeline

April 2 (Reuters) - Australian casino operator Star Entertainment SGR.AX said on Wednesday that its refinancing proposal with investment group Salter Brothers Capital worth up to A$940 million ($590.70 million) has now been withdrawn.

The cash-strapped firm continues to be unable to lodge its half-year results and added that it is now exploring a previously made refinancing solution with U.S. casino group Bally's Corp BALY.N.
