China's Ministry of Commerce has added 11 US companies to its "unreliable entity list" and 16 to its export control list, after the Trump administration on Wednesday announced additional 34% tariffs on Chinese imports into the US.
Added to the unreliable entity list were Kratos (KTOS), Skydio, Brinc Drones, Red Six Solutions, Synexxus, Firestorm Labs, Havoc AI, Neros Technologies, Domo Tactical Communications, Rapid Flight, and Insitu, the ministry said in a Friday statement.
The 11 firms have carried out military and technological cooperation with Taiwan despite the opposition of China, the ministry said. The firms are barred from import and export activities related to China, as well as making new investments in the country.
Added to the export control list were Hudson Technologies (HDSN), High Point Aerotechnologies, Universal Logistics Holdings, Source Intelligence, Coalition For A Prosperous America, Sierra Nevada Corporation, Edge Autonomy operations, Cyberlux, Saronic Technologies, Oceaneering International, Stick Rudder Enterprises, Cubic, S3 AeroDefense, TCOM, TextOre, and ACT1 Federal.
Exports of dual-use items, or goods and technology that have both civilian and military applications, to these 17 firms are prohibited, the ministry said.
