April 4 - (The Insurer) - Outgoing Lloyd's chairman Bruce Carnegie-Brown has been named chair designate and independent non-executive director of UK pensions insurance specialist Rothesay.
He will succeed Naguib Kheraj as chair from July 1, 2025. Kheraj is stepping down from the board after almost 11 years, including the last seven years as chair.
Carnegie-Brown has served as chairman of Lloyd's since 2017, and is due to step down from the position on April 30.
He will be succeeded by former senior British civil servant and McKinsey alumnus Charles Roxburgh.
Carnegie-Brown is also chair of the leadership council of TheCityUK, chairman of digital motor business Cuvva and chairman of global fintech business Ebury.
Other previous non-executive roles include chairman of Moneysupermarket Group plc, non-executive chairman of Aon UK Ltd, non-executive director of JLT Group and senior independent director of Catlin Group.
