Redpanda said it has raised $100 million in a Series D funding round, adding that the company is now valued at $1 billion.

The Series D round was led by GV, and included Lightspeed Venture Partners, the company said. Including the latest funding round, Redpanda has raised a total of $265 million.

Redpanda's real-time data platform powers agentic and operational applications, and is used by clients including Activision Blizzard, Cisco and Moody's, the company said.

Proceeds from the latest funding round will be used to accelerate company growth and expand the capabilities of its real-time data platform, which was announced Thursday, Redpanda added.
