4 月 3 日，Justin Sun 在接受《星岛》专访时表示，Techteryx Ltd. 不属于其名下产业。当被问及为何出手相助时，他解释 TUSD 全球有 500 万用户，一旦发现他们持有的 TUSD 不能兑换现金，将引发很大的金融风暴。
Justin Sun 坦言当初得悉事件时感到非常惊讶，更说是“震碎三观”，“金融机构直接挪用用户资产把它打到别的地方去，不可能是香港吧？这是彻头彻尾对储户资金的盗窃！”不明白为何没有委托人授权都可转移大额资金到海外，认为政府、银行业、证监会等均需正视这方面的漏洞，强调香港不能成为骗子诈骗资金的一个温床，同时要正视 Web 3 公司可带来的资金。
此前稳定币 TrueUSD（TUSD）的投资公司 Techteryx Ltd，向香港高等法院指控香港资产托管机构 First Digital Trust（FDT）行政总裁卓君强，以及一名新加坡持牌基金管理人 YAI SUKONTHABHUND，涉嫌与多家公司共同串谋，以欺诈方式骗取原告及公众超过 5 亿美元、折合约 39 亿港元的信托存款。
Techteryx 曾将 5 亿美元的储备金交由 FDT 托管，后储备金被投资于一家开曼基金。而这家开曼基金并没有向 FDT，发出任何投资相关的股份证书，以及在 Techteryx Ltd. 不知情下，将至少 4.56 亿美元的储备金，直接转入一间名为 Aria DMCC 的离岸私人公司在迪拜的户口，作为无担保贷款。该开曼基金已拒绝 Techteryx Ltd. 赎回或偿还资金。
