Amazon Set for Full-Scale Launch of Satellites for Internet Services

Amazon.com (AMZN) said Wednesday it is due to begin the first full-scale launch of satellites under Project Kuiper.

The company will send 27 Kuiper satellites into low Earth orbit as its begins a full-scale deployment of its satellite internet network, it said.

The launch is scheduled for April 9 on a United Launch Alliance Atlas V rocket from Cape Canaveral Space Force Station, Florida.
