0706 GMT - The global electric vertical takeoff and landing sector is poised for commercialization in 2025, Daiwa Capital Markets analysts say in a research report. Several countries are now focused on eVTOL services, especially urban air mobility, driven by the technology's readiness and the potential of this unexplored market, the analysts say. The eVTOL aircraft, which can operate at an altitude of less than 3,000 meters, are superior to helicopters in various aspects such as reduced operating costs, the analysts add. Daiwa initiates coverage of the global eVTOL sector with a positive rating. It also initiates coverage of EHang Holdings and Nanjing LES Information Technology with buy ratings and target prices of US$30.00 and CNY130.00, respectively. (ronnie.harui@wsj.com)
