Alibaba (HKG:9988) is gearing up for the release of its Qwen 3, an upgrade to its flagship artificial intelligence model, in April, Bloomberg News reported Tuesday.
The exact date for the release has yet to be determined, the report said, citing a person familiar with the matter.
Alibaba has been rapidly releasing artificial intelligence products since it decided to go all-in on technology in 2025, the report said.
The Hangzhou, China-based tech giant just released a new model to its Qwen 2.5 series in the last week of March. The iteration is able to process text, pictures, audio, and video, the report said.
