Duluth appointed Stephanie Pugliese, who previously served as chief executive, to return as CEO.
The apparel brand said Wednesday Pugliese will start on May 5.
Pugliese, 54 years old, joined Duluth in 2008 as vice president of product and merchandising. She served as chief executive from February 2015 to August 2019 before leaving to lead Under Armour's North American division.
She succeeds Stephen Schlecht, who has been serving as interim chief executive since Sam Sato announced his retirement in mid-March. Schlecht, who is the company's founder, will return to his role as senior adviser and chairman of the board once Pugliese steps in. Sato had been CEO since May 2021.
Duluth plans to pay her a base salary of $850,000, it said. As chief executive in 2023, Sato made a total compensation of $3.3 million.
