It comes as the Australian Chamber of Commerce and Industry has called for a minimum wage increase of 2.5 per cent, which is smack bang in the middle of the Reserve Bank's preferred inflation ban.
Meanwhile, the Australian Industry Group has proposed a 2.6 per cent wage increase.
