CIBC Capital Markets lowered its price target on Endeavour Silver Corp. (EDR.TO) to $7.25 from $8 on Wednesday.
Analyst Cosmos Chiu maintained a Neutral rating on shares of the Vancouver-based silver mining company following its announced purchase of Compania Minera Kolpa SA (Minera Kolpa), and its main producing asset located in Peru, the Huachocolpa Uno Mine (Kolpa), for a total consideration of $145 Million.
"Overall, despite the acquisition being accretive to NAV, investors could be concerned with the timing of the transaction, entry into a new jurisdiction, the relative absence of public information and forward-looking guidance in modelling the asset, as well as questions about potential read-throughs to the progress at Terronera," Chiu said in a note to clients.
