路透墨尔本4月2日 - 三位知情人士向路透表示，全球最大上市矿商必和必拓(BHP Group)BHP.AX考虑分拆其澳洲铁矿石和煤炭部门，作为中期发展战略的一部分。
其中两位消息人士称，必和必拓考虑分拆这些部门，就和2015年分拆South32 S32.AX一样，最有可能在澳洲上市，这是该公司未来专注发展钾肥和铜等大宗商品计划的一部分。
他们说，先前进行这一评估是因必和必拓正在大力推进业务绿化，并在2023年和2024年准备竞购英美资源 AAL.L；由于事涉敏感，消息人士要求匿名。
