0200 GMT - Hong Kong Shares are lower in early trade, with the Hang Seng Index down 1.7% at 22797.04. The Hang Seng Tech Index is down 1.9% to 5326.37. U.S. President Trump unveiled a slate of sweeping tariffs on trading partners, sending global equities markets tumbling. "Asian economies will be hit harder than most by U.S. reciprocal tariffs," says Marcel Thieliant, head of Asia-Pacific at Capital Economics, in a commentary. Technology and consumption stocks are leading the declines, with Lenovo down 5.1% and JD.com falling 4.2%. Alibaba declines 3.8%.
