据报道，美国第一资本金融公司（$Capital One Financial Corp(COF-N)$ ．）以350亿美元收购Discover Financial Services的交易已获得美国司法部批准。

　　据悉，美国司法部告诉其他调查该交易的监管机构，它认为没有足够的竞争担忧来阻止这笔交易。美国货币监理署（OCC）和美联储将根据司法部的意见对此次合并进行审查。

　　报道援引知情人士的话称，美国司法部致信美联储和OCC，称其已完成调查，不认为存在阻止该交易的理由。

　　“我们与Discover Financial的交易符合银行合并法案（Bank Merger Act）的法律要求，我们仍有可能获得批准，” 第一资本金融公司一位发言人表示，但该公司拒绝就是否获得批准发表进一步评论。

　　该交易最初于2024年2月公布，合并后的公司按余额计算将成为美国最大的信用卡发行商，按资产计算将成为美国第六大银行，并将使第一资本金融公司获得Discover卡支付网络的控制权，Discover卡支付网络是美国第四大支付网络运营商。

　　这笔交易仍面临纽约州和加利福尼亚州总检察长的额外反垄断审查。
