Interactive Brokers Daily Average Revenue Trades Higher in March

Interactive Brokers (IBKR) said Tuesday its daily average revenue trades rose 44% to over 3.5 million in March from a year ago.

The measure was 4% lower than February.

Ending client equity at $573.5 billion was 23% higher than the previous year, while 3.62 million client accounts were up 32%, the company said.

The average commission per cleared commissionable order was $2.85, including exchange, clearing and regulatory fees, while the average order size for stocks was 959 shares at average commission of $2.17, the broker said.
