4月3日，优步、文远知行与迪拜道路交通管理局(RTA)达成合作伙伴关系，将首次在迪拜推出Robotaxi自动驾驶出行服务。这一合作为优步让自动驾驶汽车成为迪拜日常生活的一部分铺平了道路，文远知行将成为优步的第一个技术合作伙伴。
作为合作关系的一部分，优步将与迪拜道路交通管理局合作开展试点项目，利用其技术将乘客与自动驾驶汽车匹配起来。关于迪拜自动驾驶汽车试点的更多细节和后续步骤将在未来几个月内公布。
这也是迪拜推动自动驾驶交通战略的重要一步，该战略的目标是到2030年将城市中25%的出行转变为各种交通方式的自动驾驶出行。
