Aon Reinsurance Solutions names Soltysiak Asia CEO

April 1 - (The Insurer) - Aon Reinsurance Solutions said on Monday that it has appointed Soeren Soltysiak as Asia CEO.

In this role, Soltysiak is responsible for driving Aon’s reinsurance strategy in Asia across treaty, facultative, analytics and operations.

Based in Singapore, Soltysiak reports to George Attard, Asia Pacific CEO at Aon Reinsurance Solutions.

Soltysiak most recently served as strategic growth leader, APAC Reinsurance Solutions at Aon, having joined the firm in late 2021 from Asia Capital Re.

Alongside Soltysiak’s appointment, the broker has named Musa Adlan managing director, Asia, for Aon Reinsurance Solutions.

Reporting to Soltysiak, Adlan will develop and refine Aon Reinsurance Solutions’ growth and product segmentation strategy across the continent, alongside his current role as head of Southeast Asia.

In addition, Soojin Kim and Cindy Gu have been named co-heads of retrocession, APAC, at Aon Reinsurance Solutions, while Tom Drake has been appointed chairman of Reinsurance Solutions Speciality for APAC.

Pierre Vende and Danny Alexander have also been named co-heads of life and health at Aon Reinsurance Solutions.
