Novo Resources Plans Drilling Program at New South Wales Gold Project in April

Novo Resources (ASX:NVO) is planning a 2,000-meter reverse circulation drilling program in April to test a high-grade gold mineralized trend at the Clone prospect in its Tibooburra project in New South Wales, identified via surface exploration, according to a Wednesday Australian bourse filing.

Exploration activities included structural, lithological, and regolith mapping, portable X-ray fluorescence, soil sampling, and rock chip sampling programs.

Rock chip sampling returned results of up to 89.6 grams per tonne grade of gold and 41.9 g/t grade of gold from samples associated with historical workings, and up to 31.9 g/t grade of gold from a quartz vein outcrop.
