Stantec (STN) said Thursday that it has signed a definitive agreement to acquire architecture and engineering firm Page.
Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
Stantec said it plans to fund the acquisition through existing funds and credit facilities. The transaction is expected to enhance Stantec's service offerings and add capabilities in cleanroom design and fabrication facilities, according to the company.
Headquartered in Washington DC, Page has offices in 20 cities across the US and Mexico, Stantec said.
Shares of Stantec were down 4% in recent premarket activity.
