CME Group (CME) reported record Q1 average daily volume Wednesday of 29.8 million contracts, which it said was a 13% increase from a year earlier.
The marketplace operator said there was record quarterly volume in interest rate, equity index, agricultural, foreign exchange, and cryptocurrency products.
CME also reported average daily volume of 30.8 million contracts in March, which it said was a 27% year-over-year increase.
