TechGen Metals (ASX:TG1) started a soil sampling program at the Agnew Gold Project in Western Australia, according to a Wednesday filing with the Australian bourse.
Around 600 samples will be collected from the program, which will be sent for assaying, with potential for rapid follow-up exploration based on results, the filing said.
The program is expected to be completed within two weeks, the filing said.
Shares of the company fell 10% in recent Wednesday trade.
