0731 GMT - Shares in European banks dropped at market open after President Trump's announcement of an across-the-board 10% tariff on all imports and a 20% tariff on EU goods. The Stoxx Europe 600 Banks Index was down more than 3.5%, compared with a 1.7% fall for the wider Stoxx 600 multi-sector index. Banks Societe Generale, Deutsche Bank and Barclays were among the top fallers. Asia-focused London-listed lenders were also down; Standard Chartered's stock shed 7.7%. (elena.vardon@wsj.com)
