2317 GMT [Dow Jones]--Morgan Stanley isn't overly concerned about the risk posed by Australia's upcoming federal election to Stockland and Mirvac's residential pre-sales in 2H of FY 2025. "Our study of transactions in the lead-up to the last five elections suggests there is no crippling slowdown in monthly market volumes," analyst Lauren A. Berry says. Australians head to the polls on May 3. MS estimates that Stockland needs to both sell and settle 376-876 residential lots in 2H to meet FY 2025 guidance. Mirvac needs 280-780 lots.
