MasOrange's Private Equity Backers Mull IPO for Next Year, FT Says, Citing Sources

--MasOrange's private equity backers are considering floating the Spanish telecom company next year, the FT reports, citing unnamed sources.

--KKR, Cinven and Providence Equity Partners are in preliminary talks over options for the business that could include an IPO in Spain next year, the FT says, adding that the sources said no final decision has been made.

--Orange said that the shareholder agreement conferred the right to trigger an IPO after April 2026 if the conditions were right. MasMovil, MasOrange, KKR and Cinven declined to comment to the FT, while Providence didn't immediately respond to a request for comment.

--MasOrange was formed in a 2022 merger between France-owned Orange Espana and private equity-backed MasMovil.
