China Energy Engineering's (HKG:3996, SHA:601868) unit, China Gezhouba Group Stock, signed a 651.2 billion Kazakhstani tenge contract for the Astana Water Supply Project in Kazakhstan, according to a Hong Kong Stock Exchange filing on Tuesday.
The contract was signed with Astana Capital Water Supply.
The Chinese construction company will design and construct a water intake pumping station, with a capacity of 342,000 cubic meters per day, within 36 months, the filing said.
