Put tech-savvy 20-year-olds on ASX company boards: HR boss

Employers should add talented Gen Z workers to their boards or set up parallel technology advisory boards to get the most out of their best tech-savvy employees, a prominent HR professional has argued.

Simon Tate, Asia-Pacific president of HR platform Workday, told The Australian Financial Review Workforce Summit that Australian companies should recognise that their youngest workers are often their most technologically proficient and well-placed to engage in “reverse mentoring” by teaching their leaders about emerging technologies.
