智通财经APP获悉，美国总统唐纳德·特朗普周一下令重新审查日本新日铁收购美国钢铁(X.US)的提议，此前该交易遭到时任总统拜登的阻止。受该消息影响，美国钢铁周一收涨16.22%，报44.50美元。
根据白宫周一发布的声明，特朗普指示美国外国投资委员会再次审查该收购案，以协助“确定是否适合就此事采取进一步行动” 。
特朗普要求该委员会在45天内提交一份建议，说明美国钢铁和新日铁提出的措施是否“足以减轻任何国家安全风险”。
拜登在1月份阻止了这笔149亿美元的交易，理由是美国最大的钢铁生产商之一受到外国控制，这可能会对关键供应链构成威胁。
特朗普也曾反对这笔交易，但他在2月份与日本首相石破茂会晤时似乎软化了立场。特朗普当时表示，日本将大举投资美国钢铁公司，而不是收购该公司。
