Chip Companies Lead Broad Pre-Bell Sell-Off of Tech Stocks

Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing (TSM) shares were down more than 8% in Monday's premarket activity, leading a broad decline among large tech companies following the imposition of US tariffs on imports and after China responded with reciprocal duties on US products.

Micron Technology (MU) shares were down more than 4%, while shares of Advanced Micro Devices (AMD), Nvidia (NVDA), and Intel (INTC) were down more than 3%.

Meta Platforms (META), Apple (AAPL), Microsoft (MSFT), and Qualcomm (QCOM) all fell more than 2% in the premarket sell-off.
