Rusal Says Russian Court Blocks Substantial Shareholder's EGM Request
United Company Rusal (HKG:0486) said the Arbitration Court of the Kaliningrad Region, on April 2, dismissed substantial shareholder SUAL Partner's application seeking to call an extraordinary general meeting (EGM) of the company's shareholders, an April 6 bourse filing said.
SUAL Partners had, in November 2024, initiated arbitration proceedings against the aluminum producer seeking invalidation of decisions of that latter's board of directors regarding holding an EGM.
