New Zealand's total lending rose to NZ$10.2 billion in February from NZ$8.61 billion in January, data from the Reserve Bank showed Monday.
New lending fully secured by residential mortgage slid to NZ$5.83 billion, compared with NZ$5.85 billion month on month.
Personal consumer new lending rose to NZ$224 million from NZ$216 million. New lending for business increased to NZ$3 billion from NZ$1.89 billion.
Lending made for agriculture purposes grew to NZ$512 million from NZ$464 million. Other new lending climbed to NZ$637 million from NZ$193 million.
