LG Innotek (KRX:011070) signed a memorandum of understanding with the Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (KAIST) to develop next-generation technologies over the next three years, Pulse News reported Friday.
The areas of operation will comprise semiconductors, mobility, and robotics, according to the report.
The collaboration will focus on imaging sensors, micro-defect detection, and autonomous driving components, the report said.
Shares of the South Korean electronic component manufacturer declined nearly 7% in recent trade on Monday.
