IT之家 4月7日消息，韩媒ETNews当地时间昨日报道称，三星显示（IT之家注：简称 SDC）已获得了为苹果供应13英寸款iPad Pro所需OLED显示面板的认证许可，预计从5月开始量产供货。
苹果在2024年发布了M4芯片版iPad Pro平板电脑，包含11英寸和13英寸两个版本，均搭载双层串联OLED (Tandem OLED) 显示面板。三星显示此前已在为该系列机型提供11英寸面板，另一家供应商LG显示则两个尺寸均有出货。
韩媒表示三星显示在双层串联结构方面的经验不如LG显示，这导致量产初期遭遇到了质量问题；该企业因此首先专注11英寸面板的制造，待目前量产能力改进时再生产13英寸面板。
报道还指出，三星显示将在13英寸Tandem OLED采用改进版的T2 Prime基材，而不是与11英寸完全一致的T2。三星显示目标在iPad Pro Tandem OLED面板上合计实现350万片的出货。
