iTech Starts Drilling at Northern Territory Project; Shares Rise 11%

iTech Minerals (ASX:ITM) has started drilling at its Scimitar copper-gold prospect in the Reynolds Range project in the Northern Territory, according to a Tuesday filing with the Australian bourse.

The company signed a contract to conduct induced polarization and moving loop electromagnetic surveys on high-priority gold-antimony targets at the range, the filing said.

The surveys, scheduled to start in three to four weeks and will take four to six weeks to complete, the filing added.

Shares of the company rose 11% in recent Tuesday trade.
