Acrivon Therapeutics has appointed Dr. Mansoor Raza Mirza as chief medical officer, effective Wednesday.

Dr. Mirza joins the Watertown, Mass. clinical stage precision medicine company from Denmark's Copenhagen University National Medical Center, where he served as chief oncologist, Acrivon said Monday.

Mirza succeeds Dr. Jean-Marie Cuillerot, who entered the role in January of last year.

Mirza brings decades of clinical research and patient care experience, and specializes in gynecologic malignancies, or cancers affecting female reproductive organs, the company said.
