消息面上，4月7日，波罗的海干散货运价指数周一延续跌势，跌至一个月低点。波罗的海干散货运价指数下跌88点或5.91%，至1401点，为3月7日以来最低水平。美银证券此前指出，留意到干散货物在今年进入下行周期，太平洋航运今年首季的锁定运价同比下滑，预计公司今年的盈利将同比下跌，并且与市场预期相比存在50%的下行空间。
银河期货指出，短期来看，关税升级会造成全球贸易流紊乱，美国干散货出口减少，区域干散货运价可能承压；从中长期来看，原材料替代性较强，部分粮食及煤炭采购的转移，使得粮食运距增加，煤炭运距减少，整体吨海里需求可能会有所下降，利空中型船运价。此外，关税政策加剧市场不确定性，对全球经济产生重大冲击，减缓全球经济增速，或对干散运价存在一定程度压制。
